Steve and Terri Daugherty are retired professionals.  Terri prides herself with a great sense of humor while Steve is the straight man.  Steve retired from the computer industry and Terri is a retired accountant.  Both being creative and artistic individuals, their home and property, over the past 21 years, has been a work in progress and continues to grow into "the resort" each passing day.  

 

Steve continues his computer work, video creation and technical support.  He excels in woodworking and can fix just about anything.  He has a complete shop "out in the way back" of the property which includes every tool man has ever made. (Terri speaking).  On many occasion, Terri will draw something on a napkin, hand it to Steve and say "Here, will you build this?"  They complement each other with their ideas and have become a great team.

 

Terri has always had a passion for interior design, cooking and entertaining.  She is an artist at heart, painting on just about everything.  Her murals and paintings are scattered throughout the house, casita and patio area.  Terri has also authored the book "Thanks for the Peas Aunt Node"  Its a collection of family comedy stories.  Not a novel by any means, just a funny little gift book.  She had a dream as a young adult to run a bed and breakfast.  Who knew thirty years later, her dream would come true.
